  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Fellow 4.6 owners. I have been trying to tackle strut front and rear shock replacement. So.. I replaced my front Shock/strut assembly for both sides, knocked out my rear passenger shock, but my rear drivers side shock bolt, she ain't moving. Question, as I may have screwed up with my impact wrench. I am following the same direction to loosen the Main shock bolt attached lower as I would for everything else like the break pad. Removal. This thing is not moving, as it's in a tight space . Any recommendations and tips? I tried to follow the same principle when I successfully swapped out the passenger rear shock.. but driver rear shock, the bolt to control arm ain't budging. I looked forward and appreciate any assist . Much appreciated... Fref
