  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi! Just joined the Genesis family and this forum. Yesterday I bought a Genesis 2015 V6 sedan with 9200 miles on it in Houston, TX. The Autonation dealer had just installed four new Fuzion UHP Sport A/S tires on it. The salesman said that these tires are what Autonation puts on all their used vehicles. The car fax report shows no problems whatsoever with this car. Kinda strange to me that they put new tires on it, as it seems that the originals should have been good with only 9,200 miles, but I'm not complaining....yet! However, in checking customer reviews for this tire it appears to be a piece of s--t to 90% of users!

My problem is, should I drive on these for awhile to get a feel for them, or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new set of something else? Has anyone here run on these tires? if so what is your evaluation of them? I see a lot of good comments on the Bridgestone Serenity Plus here on the forum, but they seem kinda pricey when I have 4 new tires on the ground now! I'm perplexed!

Bridgestone Serenity Plus was highly recommended on the 2009-2011 Genesis models, which had a much harsher ride than 2012-2014. The second generation Genesis from 2015 forward has a much more compliant suspension and should need them even less.

Whether or not the tires you have are acceptable to you, is not something that anyone else can answer. Even if you wanted another opinion, the reviews you saw are likely to be more relevant than information available on this forum, given that they are not the OEM tires.

I'd ride them until you aren't satisfied any more. They are a cheap Chinese manufactured tire.

That's what I've decided to do. We had a good rain yesterday, I took the car out and and ran it thru the paces, they didn't do to bad. Keeping them on and looking for an excuse to change out to Cooper Zeons. :)
