Hello Guys,

I am shopping a battery and wanted to know if anyone has put the Champion AGM Battery in their car and its been reliable?

I have the original battery from 2012 that came with the car and even though the battery shows to be good (tested it at Autozone) I am thinking about changing it before the up coming winter.

PepBoys has the battery on Sale and there is a $40 rebate so the $194.99 price goes to $146.24 and $106.24 respectively with 25% off and $40 rebate. Wondering if anyone has put it in their car and if its good enough for our cars especially since it has a 48 month warranty.

Jilindh thats incorrect information as its not a Pep Boys Card but a "PEP BOYS VISA® PREPAID CARD".

Be wary of the prepaid rebate cards, they charge upwards of $4 to $5 per swipe which makes the balance go quickly.

Looks like the 25% off and the $40 rebate are perpetually being extended as the new rebate dates are 10/28-01-01.

Correction the rebate form says Nov 24th but their main rebate page displayed this rebate through January 1st so not sure if it will go through then or not.

Anyone purchase this AGM recently? cannot find the rebates or seems there arent any? If thats the case I guess Costco is the cheapest?
