  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Went to visit the Genesis Club here in South Korea today. They had all the new models on the showroom floor. I’m considering a new g70 upon my return to the states so I wanted to get a up close and personal view of the new one as I’m a big fan of the older style. Here are my thoughts.

The biggest thing I enjoyed was the amazing interior of the vehicle. I don’t think I’d ever get tired of sitting in the vehicle. Huge fan of it. Also, the new wheels on the sport package are great. I just wish I knew for certain we would get everything interior wise like they have here, to include the bigger screen in the dash. I forget the exact name of the blue the vehicle was in but it was an amazing color. Combined with the black wheels is a real head turner.

I just don’t know how I feel about the headlights. Talking with the curator, he mentioned it looks like a fish and now I can’t unsee that. He was a bigger fan of the older exterior styling compared to the update too. Also, G E N E S I S, on the back on the trunk is a miss to me. Personally I would have loved to see a blown up genesis symbol in its place.

Overall, I really like the car but I prefer the styling of the older version. The interior was a big hit to me so that’s also something to weigh. I’m not sure how everyone else feels but I remain torn on which one I’d prefer to get if it came down to it.

Outside of the larger screen and the all digital meters, I thought the interior was the same. I have 2019 3.3t sport. Sevilla silver with black and red seats
