If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone. I have 2022 GV80 3.5 twin turbo advance+ . Never paid attention to liquid levels , because car was always serviced in dealerships.
But recently I was a little bit disappointed with dealership service , they actually said all liquids levels are fine. I did some engine cleaning and figured that coolant level way below min mark. I have 2 tanks.
1 by engine, and 1 on the side.
1 by engine had almost min level with cold engine.
1 on side was about 1 inch from bottom. And min mark is all the way on top. Do I have to fill up both tanks between min/max marks?

Thank you.

PS I don't trust dealership anymore.. I did check oli and it was also almost min level on cold engine.

I thought the 6 cylinder was a 3.5?

Those tanks are overflow tanks.
The minimum mark is there to insure, when the engine cools, that it does not suck air into the system.
The maximum mark is there to insure, when the engine is very hot, that the overflow tank does not overflow onto the engine & ground.

Best to keep the level in between the marks. Check when cold!

In both tanks?

Because one of them by engine. And it is about between min and max marks.
But one on the side , is larger and mark for min level is at the top of reservoir. And I think I never saw coolant at that level. Coolant is around 1-2 inches from bottom . Right above hose. Manual doesn't clearly shows correct coolant level. Are these two reservoirs interconnected?
Or I need to keep coolant levels in both reservoirs separately ?

No.

The larger tank on the driver side fender wall is engine coolant.

The smaller tank in the front/center of the engine is coolant for the air/water intake intercooler.

Yes..

As long as they are at or above the "MIN" mark when cold you are good.
