  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone purchased a Genesis from this location? From my understanding they’re the only true stand alone location in the Indianapolis area. I was curious to know of any thoughts.

I think they are great, but I might be a bit biased.

If you need a salesman, let me know. I'll put you in touch with our most experienced Genesis salesman.

Thank you. I've been "speaking" with Jim Smith via email and he's been fantastic.

I was more curious about the experience in general at a true standalone Genesis dealership vs. a Hyundai dealership.

It's not a huge issue as I would most likely have my vehicle serviced there regardless of where I purchase.

Jim is great.

We are about as standalone as you can get in the Indy area. Hyundai and Genesis are in the same building, but showrooms are on opposite sides of the building. We do operate as 2 separate dealers though. Separate sales managers, separate finance managers, and Genesis only sales associates that have gone through quite a bit of training for Genesis. We do get a lot of customers coming up that have been to other dealers around, and the sales person didn't know much about the car they were trying to sell. We sell about as many Genesis as the rest of our district does combined.
