Genesis rear hvac controls

I finally have a complaint. The rear hvac cannot be controlled from the front seat. My daughter turns on the hot air in Florida summer. I play ac heat wars for a couple days before I realize the issue is the back unit is on full hot.

My old 2005 odyssey let me reset rear seat hvac from the dash. I would like the same in the genny

It happened to me three times.I just put a piece of black electrical tape on the wheel that controls cool and hot air setting the wheel to the cool air. I keep it this way regardless of the season.

BTW, as far as i know there is no HVAC in the rear vents in the center console. It just blows cool or hot air, but I may be wrong. HVAC for the rear seats comes from the vents in the middle of center pillars.
