In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Genesis Valet is horrible

This is my second trash experience with Genesis Valet service.

1st time- the driver smoked in my car
2nd time- The appointment was made on the website for valet service with Genesis of South Loop Chicago IL. Come today when they are supposed to pick up my car no one shows (even though I get the confirmation that they are coming text this morning.) I call the dealership and the say "we don't offer that service and we don't know when you actually book." WTF? Then I call Genesis and they say "sorry about that, the dealerships don't know when you book.... and also btw there is an employee shortage in the us so maybe that is why they don't offer valet...." I asked the rep if it would make sense to take that function off the website if it does not actually work, as even if they had the employees they would not have freaking known?... He said "yeah, that makes sense" no shit it makes sense, it's called common sense.

Can I get (complimentary) oil change service any where else or does it always need to be at a genesis dealer?

Love the car, the Service aspect sucks. I can't decide if I should leave a crap review with the Dealership as it has to suck for them too.

there is nothing stopping you from taking your car to them to get the free oil change

Never use the app to schedule service. Seems it has not worked for anyone.

How far is the dealer? I'm retired so I prefer to take the car to them and wait just over an hour. Avoids others driving my car and I have the time.

The valet system sounds good but implementation has been spotty, many dealers struggle with it. With Covid it has been worse.

This is exactly my feeling, the car is wonderful, the people and the company behind are impossible to work with and have zero care for their customers.
