  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis will make your car payments...

I don't want to get into the whole politics of why private equity is not eligible for the stimulus package benefits, but the private equity industry as a whole actually does have "piles of cash". I do feel bad for those people who work for companies owned by PE firms - but industry-wide (not talking about any specific PE firm), the PE industry has an estimated $1.5 trillion in available, unallocated capital. So as an industry, private equity is capable of weathering this storm. Obviously, they want a piece of the pie that the government is offering, but I question if they really need taxpayer assistance when they are one of the wealthiest sectors in the economy, and in some cases, getting wealthier even in this economy.
I’d love to see an itemized breakdown of how Ruth’s Chris spends its $20 million gift from my (our) wallet. Also, frankly, I’ve always enjoyed my food much more in the restaurant nextdoor to Ruth’s Chris here in Richmond (actually in Midlothian).

How on earth does Ruth's Chris get an SBA loan? By what definition is Ruth's Chris a "small business"? And it's interesting that just a few days after the PPP is announced, they get not one, but two, loans at $10M each, which is the max loan amount. So in one swoop, Ruth's Chris gets loans that amount to over 5% of the total PPP package. Someone at Ruth's Chris must have friends in high places.

Well, there are two RC locations serving the Palm Beach, FL area.

So on a side note my credit union called me yesterday and offered an interest free 3 month deferment on the note on my wife’s Camry. Which we purchased through the CU when her lease was up. I have until July 31 to claim it, at the moment I am still employed so I will hold in the event that changes.

Wow, that is proactive on their part. Hope you never need it but nice to know it is available if things change.

Genesis USA
GENESIS CARES

WE BELIEVE BUYING A CAR IS A RELATIONSHIP.
NOT A TRANSACTION.

If you purchase a new Genesis and experience a job loss caused by COVID-19 anytime this year, Genesis will make your payment for up to 6 months.* You can also choose to defer payment for 90 days when you finance a 2019 Genesis G70 at 0.0% APR financing through Genesis Finance.* Because a relationship means we’re in this together.
Hmm still not lucrative. I would buy another G80 2021 if it comes with a 10 years unlimited mileage warranty ..I do not need anything else from Genesis.
