  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello team,

My question is the following, is there any way to activate the Adaptative Cruise Control on my 2019 Genesis G70 2.0T Sport? I can see the radar on the forward grill, but I don't have the ACC visual on my dashboard.

The reason I'm asking is the following:

I'm considering buying the Open Pilot device to automate part of my drives. The most important requirement is the ACC according to the community.

Thanks for your help,

Stickshift even have adaptive cruise? Thought not.

The manual version of the G70 does not have adaptive cruise control. Only active lane keep.

Other manual transmission cars do have adaptive cruise control (e.g. Honda Accord Sport, and I believe the Jetta GLI), but they have obvious limitations given the whole manual gear change thing.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I'm also curious what can be done to activate ACC on a manual G70. The hardware is there, but it of course will be limited to the flexibility of whatever gear you are in. VW has VAGCOM and OBDEleven to change coding and allow access to additional features, Ford has FORScan, is there anything like that for Hyundai/Kia/Genesis products? I'd imagine it would be as simple as changing some coding.
