Big Thumbs Up Kudos to Global Auto Mall in Green Brook NJ for their above-and-beyond efforts with my recently purchased Genesis 3.8. During the first month the car showed some mechanical and technological shortcomings that needed tuning and in the case of the Navigation, replacement and reprogramming. The car was in the shop a couple of times for minor tune ups during the initial 30 days but never quite came home "just right".
After speaking with Rich, the GM, and Charlie the Service Director about my concerns, the team, and especially Tom and Gus stepped up and "owned the problems", offering me personal attention and access to Hyundai's Field Engineering team in addition to their own resources.
The car came home tonight, tuned, tightened, re-programmed, adjusted and even fully detailed, and it feels better than new.
If anyone's looking for a first-class Hyundai service team, go see Charlie, Tom, and Gus at Global and say Marc Mandel sent you. You'll be glad you did.
