  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am travelling in New England[I am from Texas] and had something slip through the grill and put a hole in my air con condensor. End result no air con in a week of 95-100 degree days. Went to the Emergency section of the GPS. Nearest dealer was Gateway Hyundaui-Ford in White River, Vt. Explained the situation and that my wife was suffering from the heat. First the cocky sales person jibed me for trading a Lexus for a Hyundai and then the Service Department blew me off and said there was no way they could have anybody look at the car for three days.
Now for the good news..I called the next two closest dealers and they were both terrific. Autofair Hyundai in Manchester,NH said they would do there best to fit me in that afternoon if I could get there and even went so far as to refer me to the closer Grappone Hyundai in Concord,NH. Grappone's Service folksmade special effort, even though they had a full load and even lent me a carfor the day while the part was flown into Concord;plus they delivered the carfour hours ahead of schedule. My kudos to GRAPPONE and AUTOFAIR. Your efforts qre the definition of service...

Always nice to hear good things about some dealers. They all are not bad.

BTW. "I Love Texas"! Spend a lot of time in NM, but still love the Hill Country, spending time in Kerrville, Bandara (OST Restaurant), Medina, Vanderpool, and of course Luckenback (sp) (if you can find it because the signs get stolen).
