Google Map, Can't Send Directions

In my KIA, Benz and BMW I can enter an address at google maps and then use a great feature called 'Send to car'. When I get to the car I can ask for route guidance. Hyundai is missing as option. Is it true that I have to write down the address and speak it when I get the car.

I'd much rather get my destination pre-loaded using a full keyboard and screen.

The 2015 has this ability. I’ve used it through the Blue Link interface on my desktop and laptop. I just send it as a POI.
