  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Took delivery on Wednesday of my new 2015 Genesis in bright blue. Only comes with the Ultimate pkg. I almost immediately undertook a 600 mile road trip. Hilton Head to Charlotte & back.

It was down to the BMW 500 series or the Genesis. As I went back & forth my wife agreed I could get whatever I wanted. The difference equally equipped -$76,000 v $47,000.

I went with the Genesis and then sent each of my 5 kids a check for $5,000. Now they think my wife and I are worth more alive than dead...I hope. ;-)

I love this car. I can honestly say I will never have another car without H U D. I had the G1 Genesis at one time and thoroughly enjoyed it, but this car is waaay more than an upgrade.

Still discovering all the technical junk. The first thing I did was tear the non-English sections from the manuals so I could get it all in the glove box. My road trip took a while. I kept pulling into rest stops to read the books and figure out how to do stuff.

Enjoy! I agree with you on the HUD. I genuinely miss it when I drive something without it. As good as it is, I would LOVE if it also had the turn signal and high beam indicators up there. With those, it would be complete!

Congrats on the new ride and :welcome: to the family. You are so right about figuring "out how to do stuff" on this car. There is so much to learn which makes that much more fun to drive.

Post up some pics when you get a chance.

Welcome and congrats!

Congratulations! I re-read the manuals after about a week with the car and discovered a lot of little things I missed the first time.

I also came from 1st Gen Genesis and I agree this car is something else. My favorite feature is also the HUD and I miss it when I drive my other car. Enjoy your new ride.:D
