  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just purchased my GC!!

I've been trying to get my hands on a KW 2.0 Track for a few months now locally with no luck. For some reason our locals dealers thought it would be cool for all of them to get AUTOS...no thanks. Hit up vehix.com and found a dealer out in NJ with the exact one i wanted(Wayne Mazda Hyundai) and took it off their hands immediately. They have been great through the whole process.

I'm so damn excited i've been doing the peepee dance since the moment i signed the papers yesterday.

Little info about us, we are a company that specializes specifically in Subaru(until now) aftermarket parts. We offer porting/polishing and ceramic coating services along with our ever growing product line of exhaust parts, boost control solenoid, gaskets, phenolic thermal spacers, and more. I started the company in 2006 doing PnP/Ceramic Coating in my garage, since then i have brought on a team of other fellow automotive junkies. We all really enjoy staying at the grassroots level as each of us have a deep passion for cars(not just Subarus). All of us are very excited to expand our horizons with this amazing new platform. Our experience has been predominantly with turbo 4cyl platforms so we feel this will be a great fit.

This is us: :D

Each of these guys and gals play a very important role at GrimmSpeed...be it porting, shipping, coating, inventory management, marketing, responding to PM's/emails, etc.

haha, thanks guys! glad to be here.

well the day started out great but didnt end so well. looks like the shipping company beat up the front and rear bumpers and as of right now Wayne Mazda Hyundai in New Jersey is leaving me out to dry. The rear "diffuser" was essentially ripped of the car, the supports below that connect to the car were completely ripped off. The pass. side tail pipe is dented. Up front there are two cracks in the bottom of the front bumper skin with TOUCH UP PAINT! are you kidding me?...dealership guarantees they didnt touch up the car and that it must havebeen the transportation company(company that delivered it to me in minnesota from nj). I have no connection to the trasportation company, the dealership set all of it up.

You bought it from the dealer... their responsibility!

You may have to file a claim with the shipment company. Normally passage of tittle and risk of loss transfers when goods are tendered by the dealer to the common carrier (a transportation company) and if there is any damage during shipment a claim must be filed by the new owner against the carrier (new owner took title when the car was tendered to the carrier).

The above assumes that the car was sold FOB at dealer location and that a common carrier was used for the shipment. If the sales contract specifies that the car is FOB at buyer destination or if the dealer transported the car themselves, then the dealer is responsible for risk of loss (and the dealer must file a claim against the carrier if they want reimbursement).
