  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Subject is tongue-in-cheek but honestly, I have _never_ had a car collect so many leaves under the hood! I unavoidably have to park under a cherry tree, and as it is Fall and it is dropping leaves with abandon, I've been removing leaves from around the wiper area. However, the leaves seem to work their way in to the interior of the car, under the hood - heck, someone I've had leaves get into the frunk. What is a step above annoyance is that they are getting into hard-to-reach places, as in, the tray and below the 12v battery, where I can't reach them nor can my Shop vac get too. I've purchased some attachments to help extend it down there, and have managed to get most of them, but what a PITA. And perhaps overblown as a concern, but... it bothers me, knowing they are there. My GV60 is but an amateur in this arena, collecting but a fraction of your haul, yet still impressive. I will tell it to do better.

I have noticed that too.
BTW, my wife’s XC60 does pretty much the same.

Yup - I am constantly pulling leaves out from the area below the windshield behind the hood. This car loves leaves!
