  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV60 passenger side headrest issue

The question pertains to the GV80. You must be familiar with that vehicle?
Sorry. I missed that. Had assumed it was a GV60.... You know... given the forum. :)

Still. Seems strange to not allow one of the headrests to adjust.

I smell BS that only one headrest would be adjustable but I'm not sure we can help the OP in this forum.

Ask the fine folks in the GV80 forum if both headrests are adjustable in their '25 vehicles.

Only one of the front headrests on my 2025 GV80 3.5T Prestige adjusts front to back. Does anyone know where I can purchase a second HR that does adjust front to back? Dealer can't help.
You're in the wrong forum - the is the GV60 forum, not the GV0 forum. That said, assuming the headrests in the GV80 work in the same fashion as those in the GV60, the adjustment forwards and backwards has nothing to do with the mounting holes and posts and thus nothing to do with whether the headrest is in the left or right seat. As shown on that illustration attached, you have to grab the headrest VERY FIRMLY from the rear, pull it forward all the way, and then release it to get it slide back to the furthest back position. It can take a fair amount of force the first couple of times you do this.

I'll pay for a second headrest gladly. I forgot to got to the parts department at the dealer. I was expecting the service team to engage with parts. My mistake.

I thought I was in a GV80 forum...again my mistake.
