  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New owner here. Just wondering where the best location is for the EZPASS. The windshield sensors make hiding it near impossible. Was thinking behind the big screen, but i think it will reflect onto the windshield.

Any thoughts?

I put mine right behind the big nav screen but got one of these black covers to make it blend in:

On my Jaguar F-Pace, due to the type of windshield, I had trouble with my E-ZPass tag so I ended installing it to the sunroof glass close to the front edge. The screen below the glass cleared it.
I never tried that with the GV70 so I don't know if there is room for it there. Give it a try.

I use a suction cup mount for it, not the velcro tape and I attach it to the lower driver's side windshield, basically over the NJ inspection sticker.

I got one of the black silicone cover kits that essentially surround the E-ZPass in black.
I placed it just in front of rearview mirror and so not in my line of sight. I had it on back side of display which is ok too.

I was wondering the same thing, did you find a good location?

Based on some other postings I saw around the web, I tried my TXtag sticker on my sunroof, and it works fine for toll roads. I put it in the front right corner. Some say that if you use airport tag readers, that location may not work, but that doesn't apply to me.

I like it there, because it's out of sight, out of mind, especially since I almost always keep the sunroof shade closed.

Yes to this location and I bought same cover. Just stick it on the flat area just above lower curved area. Works perfectly.

I originally placed it near mirror and camera but not good there. Back of screen is best and you never see it with rubber cover

In have mine at the top of the windscreen, to the right of the center plastic thing that has all the sensors. It's a dead area for driver vision as it's blocked by the rear view mirror. I have my 407 transponder there too. Completely unnoticeable. Both work fine in that location.

I hate to ask you to do a chore for me, but any chance you could post a photo? My new EZ Pass sticker says once you put it on, you can't take it off, so I don't want to mess up.
