  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I own a 2022 GV70 and although I love this car and all it’s features, the Lane Follow Assist feature really needs some work. The car seems to be to ping pong within the lane and is always over correcting itself and ping pongs within the lane. It seems to work better at night, maybe the headlights help to define the lane markers. Is there an update for this? Does anyone one else have the same issue? I have found on my latest road trip that if I choose sport mode for the steering and suspension that it greatly reduces the ping pong effect, but then of course the ride and steering become a bit harsher. Is there an update to this issue?

On my 2021 GV80 I find the LKA does ping pong more than my 2019 G80 Sport did but the LFA is solid down the center of the lane.

I'm finding just the opposite. I'm amazed at how smooth the LFA is on my GV70 as I cruise down the road without my hands on the wheel. Surface roads and highway both are incredibly smooth. The only quirk is that sometimes it tells me to get my hands on the wheel after a few seconds but I've also counted up to 45 seconds before that warning. It should be smooth for you.

For comparison my wife's C-RV does ping-pong so I know what that feels like.

well i just received a call from my dealer and the HDA2 is not available anymore due to chip shortage. any new GV70s or other models with HDA2 will now be getting only HDA for the foreseeable future from this date on.. this may change some peoples perspectives.

I received my GV70 last November 2021. I believe I have HDA2, but not sure.

Do you have a 3.5T or a 2.5T sport? The advanced and standard 2.5T should only have come with HDA 1
