GV70 Headrest Adjustment

Is there a way to move the driver and passenger side headrests forward and backward? I see how to move them up and down, but not sure if they can move back or not? The headrest seems to come too far forward and I swear it wasn't like that during the test drive. Has anyone else run into this? Thank you!

Probably. I moved the headrest up some which helped a little! Then I found the posture assessment feature which auto adjusted the seat and made it a million times better! I’ll have to see how I like that seat setting and possibly tinker with it some more.

So I could be seeing things, but I think the driver and passenger headrests are slightly different. The passenger headrest I don’t think sticks out as far. I swapped them and this fixed the issue for me.

Now to get my seat adjusted… lol!

So, I also have the problem that the headrest sticks out too far forward. For now, I recline the seat back a bit more than I'd normally like and it works, but not ideal.

I see in a copy a non-US owners manual that the headrests can indeed go forward and backward. But, for whatever dumb reason, that's not a option with the US model.

I have to wonder if someone with a non-US model with the fully adjustable headrests may be able to give us a proper part number for it. I've searched the net, and haven't been able to definitely figure this out.

Agree that this is ridiculous--never thought to ask if you could adjust back and forth, because EVERY CAR I'VE EVER OWNED had that feature! Very uncomfortable seats as far as I'm concerned. This is on a GV70 2024 sport prestige. I had an Acura MDX--so much more comfortable.

My C230 Sport has this feature on the headrest moving forward and back. It is even saved in memory.

Now I resort to this. Pretty comfortable.

Thanks, but I tried like 6 different ones from Amazon, including one that looked the same. However, none of them provided enough neck support for me, nor did any of them seem to line up with where my neck actually is.
