GV70 - Infotainment

Attempted to contact SiriusXM as "data services not available" for both doppler and traffic. I was told "this vehicle doesn't have this capability." Asked to speak to someone higher up. This person said "yes, your vehicle is listed as having both but we can not access it. You need to contact Genesis and ask them to update software to allow override so we can add the services." Does anybody know if this is a known issue and how is it resolved? Update on Genesis site?

Hm..I would take it into your Genesis dealer for them to have a look. This is a complete and total guess but - It sounds like maybe something was overlooked during the vehicle delivery prep?

Update - Genesis is no longer using XM for traffic and weather but HDRadio. HDRadio does not have comprehensive national coverage at this time. Genesis is telling me it was a corporate decision so if you are not in a coverage area (for me Reno and Carson City which is the capital of Nevada), you are out of luck. Asked them "how hard can it be to go with XM as my radio is through them. No answer. They will get back to me.
