  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

First, it seems we need some sub-forums for the GV80, such as one for Wheels, Tires, brakes, suspension.

As to replacements for the OE Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires, what alternative tires have you tried? I just picked up a used 2020 V80 3.5T with 20k miles and the stock Michelin are pretty much needing to be replaced. On my Buick Enclave, I have tried the Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S as well as the Scorpion A/S Plus 3 and they rode too hard. I returned a set of the latter to Discount Tire and got a set of Continental CrossContact LX25 and they indeed provided a noticeably more plush ride.

I'm now leaning towards a set of the Continental LX25 or Vredestein Quatrac Pro+, which are extremely high rated for a nice, quiet ride and great traction.

Thoughts much appreciated.

The 255/40R21 Michelin Primacy Tour A/S is stock on my GV70 Sport Prestige and I've been considering the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ for my next set of tires. I've read good things about them. I want a quiet ride, and the Michelins have been great on freshly paved roads, but that's about it. They're noisy and rough on anything else. The dealer here loaned me a GV70 Select with 235/55R19s recently (also with Michelins), and it was significantly better, so the problem isn't all with my Michelins. I love the look of the OEM wheels, but the height of the sidewall is definitely a factor in the ride and comfort, so I might have to buy some new wheels as well. We'll see.
