My local Hyundai dealer did the first three oil changes on my '14 Equus. I usually do it myself, so when I did my fourth oil change I noticed a drip from the drain plug. All Hyundais have a reputation for being "oil-tight."
I removed the drain plug; and, upon inspection, could see some deformation of its treads. This told me the plug was overtightened, probably with an impact wrench. I installed a brand new drain plug with a bit of silicon sealant on the theads. No further leaking.
Drain plugs are cheap, but if the female threads on the oil pan are distorted you will be looking at a large replacement cost.
My point is to insist that your drain plug be hand tightened.
