  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

In my old Buick Verano (w/o Android Auto but w/Bluetooth sound allowing connection to the nice Bose sound system) the entertainment system was smart enough to comprehend " Send xxx an email" commands, which would allow me to create and send emails, which was great for taking notes while driving. This probably happened using Google Assistant but honestly I'm not sure how it worked.

I am unable to figure out how to get the same functionality in my otherwise very nice 2021 G70 AWD 2.0T Elite. So I get to pull out a pad of paper and a pen if I want a note. Meaning that many notes don't get taken due to not wanting to die in heavy traffic.

I could probable temporarily unplug my phone and use Google Assistant on the phone to do this. What I'd like is a way to convince my connected phone to do this using Android Auto.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
