  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

has anyone replaced shocks / struts / springs? 2013 RSpec

so what is the consensus on a good ride? swap with 2012 shock and spring? just gather 2012 spring with 2013 shock?

That’s still the plan indeed. I’ve been holding back from posting it in case I changed my mind but it’s been a few weeks/months now. I think I’m ready to sell now. Lmk if interested
Let me know when you're ready.
Thanks

Definitely interested. Not sure if there's a way to inbox, but lmk where you are located, how many miles and what's the asking price.

Thanks!
I’m in LA. The parts literally have about 200-300 miles on them maybe. So I’ll knock off $250 from the close to $1200 I paid.

Ah got it. I'm also on another coast so shipping will probably be another 150. I guess I'll just go brand new with warranty for the same price. Thanks for a quick response

I still have these available you get the whole assembly so you can just do a straight up swap no sketchy spring compressors and it's relatively easy to do with general mechanics tools and knowledge.. there basically brand new this car was a garage queen.
I’m interested but not sure how they’d feel holding the heavier 5.0 as these are off a 3.8. 🤔

I can knock an extra $150 to compensate for shipping if you’re willing.

Hello all

The great people at NTB said my front struts were "sagging" leading to the fact the car slightly drifts to the right and they cant get the alignment right.
Want to hear the funny part...???
they quoted me $2,474.00 to replace the front 2 struts and springs!!!! LOL

I know you can get OEM ones for under $300/side including the spring but I didn't know if anyone has replaced these yet and if so, should I get new mounts and other pieces?

Are the OEM struts anything "special"? I imagine it is best to stay with OEM as I am not putting on an AutoZone special for this vehicle.

Yes the OEM are the only ones i would get, I replaced my 2012 4.6 sedan with a after market strut and Springs and it was a huge mistake, im now in the process of replacing them with the original psrts.
