  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

To adjust the headrest, I push the release at the base of the support and then move it up to one of the notched positions.

Problem is, once locked, it prevents downward motion but it can still move freely upward. Result is no matter what level I set the head rest, after a day or two it seems to creep up an inch or two.

I find myself continually having to push it back down to it's previous setting. Same for the passenger side. I also find the foward adjustment to be a little loose. Minor perhaps, but frustrating none the less... hope Hyundai takes notice & corrects this.

This happens to me all the time. I like the head rest all the way down, but at the end of the day it seems to be 1" to 1.5" up. I have to push it back down.... I also caught myself getting my wallet out of my back pocket when sitting in the car. When I do this, I push back hard against the seat and I think my shoulders come up and hit the head rest... which causes it to move up.

It is annoying...

LMAO...Glad I'm not the only one withthis annoying issue.

I realized that it gets moved up as I adjust myself (not my package, but my whole body) to get more situated in the seat, after sitting down in it.

Believe it or not, it's my shoulder or upper back that pushes it up. At only 5'10" tall, it's not because I'm above average in height.

I like my headrest down all the way too, so trust me, I'm as annoyed at this as you guys are. This has never happened to me in any of the cars I have owned over the past 22 years. So, it's obviously a design issue with the Genesis seat.
