  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just bought my 2011 hyundai genesis sedan, im noticing the the bottom part of the seat where i sit my ass down is not heating up either at all or not much. The back portion heats up but takes forever. Is this a commom problem? It goes into the dealer for a full inspection monday as i just bought it and want it looked at.

I have to turn my heater down or off after as little as 10 mins. as it gets too hot for my liking. I would take it to the dealer for a check-up.

I just got the car. It goes in for a full inspection monday. The drivers seat back heats up and gets really hot eventually but the bottom clearly doesn't work.

So it turns out the bottom cushion of the heated seat is broken. It is being replaced under warranty. Not impressed. Ive owned wayyy older cars with heathed seats and never had a problem.

I had that problem with both front seats........ they were both working, took car in for some "other" repairs, then my seats quit heating. Took it back and they had to replace a fuse box that was grounding out or some such stuff as that.....

NOW, my driver's seat bottom doesn't cool very much at all. The back seems sorta' ok, but, not nearly as cool as it did last summer (July, Aug) as it is this spring in the mid to upper 70s.

I'm so damn tired of all these nagging problems with this car that I'm going to get out of it ASAP. I've got to build a little more equity so I'll be making 1.5 payments/mo in order to pay it down sooner.

Love lots about the car, but, the nagging crap is driving me crazy!!!

Is this a common problem with the genesis? What other problems have u had?
