  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am retired, I have seven grand-children and one great-grand-child and I recently spoiled myself by buying a 2022 Genesis GV70. Love this new toy. I love in the Ottawa area. Looking forward having conversations with all of you.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on your new Genesis GV70! :) What did the GV70 replace for you?

Welcome. I am a twice grandpa (two really young ones from each of my kids) and, as you can see, I drive a 2023 GV60P. It is so much fun.

You are ahead of me as a grandparent so I am sure you know the mandatory grandparent rule: spoil the kids and then turn them back over to your kids. If you give them rides, make sure the little ones are in car seats.

This forum is filled with good people and good information. Just be aware that anecdotal information (my personal experience, your personal experience, etc.) is not statistically valid and people in forums like this tend to either praise the product to the skies or damn the product to the netherworld. So take everyone's advice, starting with this one, with a critical attitude.

Thank you for your comments, Steve. I appreciate your recommendations.

You're gonna love the GV70!

I was driving a 2017 Sonata Limited.
That Sonata was a pretty nice car, actually, but the GV70 is one heck of an upgrade! Enjoy it!
