  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi there, I just joined this forum and actually just joined the EV world around 3 weeks ago with a GV70 electrified. Loving pretty much everything about this car, other than the range in winter may be :(. The car is fully loaded, Matte Matterhorn and the whitish Nappa inside. Wasn’t really gonna get white and white but the only ones available fully loaded and Nappa inside was this.
Hoping to learn from you guys here, actually did already, have the car parked in the garage of a hotel, on the charger overnight, charging not finished and wanted to remove the cable but no reception in the garage, so couldn’t use the app to stop charging to unlock the cable and googling came to this forum and learnt that all it takes is to use the open button on the keyfob. Simple world.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Genesis GV70 electrified! I'm glad you found us. :) I'm really glad to hear you found us when you needed help and that we came through for you. What did the Genesis replace for you?

Even though the M50d engine has plenty of punch too, there is no comparison in terms of the instantly available power from the GV70, that impresses everyone. My buddy has an X5M Comp. and he is shocked and impressed when I press the Boost button, or even without that.
The interior of Genesis is so nice, in terms of materials used and workmanship that I think BMW, Merc, Audi can all take note of what this brand has done.
Even the GV70 has loads of cool electronic gadgets, the Beemer has one thing where it is better than the GV70: the automatic speed adaptability when driving. The beemer just does this great on any road. The GV70 is very restictive, only on highways, only automatic when at the exact speed. But that is about the only thing the X5 does better.
Well then again the range is the other thing obviously: X5 900km, GV70 in winter at the moment 250km, hoping in warmer weather this will increase massively.

Thank you. It really is impressive how far the brand has come in such a short time... The playing field has really been leveled. It's a good thing you got in early as I have a feeling Genesis vehicles are going to be quite pricey in short time...
