  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone. My name is Louis and just got my self a white 2010 Genesis Sedan 3.8 with prem. and tech package. I got it used with 9k miles but wow... what a nice car for the money. Anyway.... just wanted to say hello and looking forward joining this great forum.

Just a quick question though... does genesis sedan have auto window roll down feature with key fob? Almost every single cars I've own had this feature where you hold unlock button on key fob and the windows roll down. Also how do you adjust the fog light beam height?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Hello. New ower.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase.

The Genesis does not have the auto window roll-down feature you describe unfortunately. There have been other posts recently lamenting the lack of this feature, but as somebody said, there is a reason that the Genesis is such good value. While a seemingly small additional feature it can add to the cost considerably.

Re: Hello. New ower.

Welcome. No auto windows down on 3.8. And as far as I know there is no adjustment on the fog lights.

Re: Hello. New ower.

Welcome. And I like the typo in your message title: like most of us, you're now an "ower" as well as an "owner." :)

No, this one would be pure software so it would have no extra unit cost per car.

Re: Hello. New ower.

Yes... thats what I thought. All it needed was alittle change to programming and it would've worked. Well... it's still an amazing car. Love driving every seconds of it.

About the fog lights... I guess its the problem with the bulbs Im guessing. The OEM bulbs were perfectly leveled but these yellow bulbs... not so much. If there's no way to adjust the level, I guess I'll try some new bulbs to see if it makes any difference. Thank you

Welcome aboard, Louis! Thank you for signing up...

So if software has no value how is it that Bill Gates is one of the richest people on this planet?:)

Software has to be paid for somehow, as do the control modules that provide the additional features. Certainly do-able, but not free.
