I was car shopping with a friend and he was looking to replace his junker, and I noticed the genesis

I always admired the car for hyundai's revamped image, but I never really took it seriously until I saw one real up close and poked around a little.

Oh my god, I'm in love. I'm going to be in line to get the 2012 5.0 liter sedan. I'm so excited.

My name's Avi I wanted to poke around and lurk the forum to get a feel of what the modder/enthusiast community is like and see what things to look out for before I buy.

Much like you, I joined to learn everything I can about the car (most importantly the issues, so I'd be prepared). Been "lurking" here for almost a year, though I only joined in August.

I too am waiting for the R spec. I check da interwebs every single day hoping for a road test, or new pictures and what not! Most days I am a very sad, disappointed little boy. I suppose I should just be patient!
