Hello~ found this website while googling 'hyundai genesis'...


I am not an American, nor live in America...(had visited to states before tho...) I am living in country where manufactures Genesis, and currently
fully enjoying my Genesis a lot...

I was actually seraching for an article from Washington Post about the
debut of Genesis in states, but this forum was placed on the first page of searching results and intrigued me to join... I`m not sure whether nationality or country matters,,, if so please let me know.

Anyway it is really nice to meet people who love Genesis here!



p.s. as all of you might know, MSRP for genesis here in S.Korea is
way higher than that in States... so some Koreans are considering
to buy one in states and bring it back to here...tariff, tax costs matter
but still cheaper...

In fact, I've heard that almost 100 of the Genesis sold in the United States were shipped back to South Korea for consumers living there. Smart move, if you ask me!

You are going to add another dimension to the Genesis discussion here. Welcome!!

One little thing...................could you possibly do a little spy work for us guys wanting the V-8 and keep watch on all the export ships going out to sea and let us know when the V-8's are leaving over there. (Just kidding) Hopefully they have left already!!!

Seriously though its going to be great to get information about the Korean version of the Genesis and also how your countries reviews of the car have been.

If the Genesis sold in Korea is the same as the one sold in the US for much less, that's dumping (and, I presume, illegal). So I assume they are different. How do they differ?
