  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The infotainment screen will not turn off at all. With the doors locked and the whole vehicle turned off. The keyfoh works for proximity start but not any of the buttons work. I just replaced the batteries to see if I could get it to work, but no. The red light does flash on the key fob whenever you push a button but there’s no response from the car. Pushing the button on the door handle does nothing. If the door is open then the lock switch on the inside locks and then unlocks immediately. I’ve tried turning the key 7-10 times. I have to disconnect the battery terminals just to save the battery from the screen being on constantly. I even waited an hour to see if it would turn off and nope. Also when I manually lock the door the cluster says the key isn’t in the vehicle? PLEASE HELP!
I literally just got this car today.
