Help! 2022 g70 Sport 3.3 trim issues

Ok so I know this has been an on going issue but how can I fix it? I’ve bought so much and the ONLY thing that has helped a little was Soft Scrub seriously I never ever do this but I went through a new car wash I am ashamed but I was y feeling good and did not feel like hand washing even though I had to do my tired and dry it so a day or 2 later I notice my trim looks super weird. So I’m like ok maybe it’s me but it wasnt I get in sunlight and it is this soap scum stuff is the only way I can describe it. I can almost scratch it off with my nail but i. worried i will scratch my trim. If it know what to do I bought this car new Ive had 2 Genesis G70 3.3 love them both one black one white plus a 2022 Blacked out Camry TRD the white Genesis is giving me more hassle with this trim and i am a stickler about my vehicles I just need advice how can I fix this it looks horrific !

Can it be fixed my car only has 18,000 miles and I can’t have it looking like this please help

So you noticed this after you went through a car wash? I never use them, but they usually offer different services with the wash, like "wax". Did you select any? I'm thinking something was used that is now causing you an issue with your trim.

Maybe consult with a good detailer in your area and see what they can do, or what they suggest.

Brought my '21 G70 sport in for a recall and showed them the spotty trim around the windows. I expected them to blame it on me somehow but was shocked when I picked the car up and the trim looked new. All they did was buff the trim. I will wax the trim so hopefully it does not come back.

So - the issue with the sport trim can be solved with some buffing. Not sure how they did it but it is possible.

You need to use something like Carpro Descale to strip all of the crap that's on the paint, then do a contact wash with a mild car detergent and soft cloth/sponge, and then probably use a spot remover like Gyeon Water Spot (which is really just a water and distilled white vinegar mixture, you can make your own). This combo will remove all of that and let you put a fresh coat of wax/ceramic coat on your car. No more auto washes!

Mine looked horrible when I bought the car. All it took was some patience and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. That said, DO NOT use a Magic Eraser on the paint!
