Help Identifying This...

Found on floor behind passenger's seat in my G70. Looks to be some panel that is intended to removed from something is my best guess.

Thanks. Interesting that on inside of that part is says Kia so I know it came from somewhere in the car. Looks like a battery cover of sorts.

That panel cover is located in front of the passenger seat (front) which hides a stamped VIN number on the car frame.

Will be in left side of the floor mats clips if standing outside the passenger seat door.

Genesis manufacturers have provided two locations for a VIN number. The first one is observable from car's windshield, on the dashboard at driver's side. The second one is inside a driver's side door jamb.

Because customers say in (6) locations with a VIN
I hope to be familiar with and know the sites in order to be honest with clients and customers

In addition to windshield and driver door jam, My Cadenza also has it on a decal under hood. Also, a welded VIN on floor under front of passenger seat. (I can only see it with passenger seat all the way back.) There are other “secret” places that few people (like the police) know about.
