  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,

I noticed the front left corner of my front bumper just under the side of my left headlight is not fully snapped in. I tried to push it back place but it keeps coming out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix this.

Mine did the same when I parked over a curb and rubbed the bottom of the bumper when backing out of the parking space. The bumper cover pulled way out on the drivers side. I was able to force it back in with a few brisk slaps with an open hand. When it happened it pulled so far off the whole driver side was hanging down a few inches with the top mounting tabs exposed. I thought for sure the car would be going to a shop to be repaired so I didn't think I had much to loose by lining it back up in place and slapping it hard along the seam in an attempt to temporarily force it back in place. I was surprised how much I was able to get it back in place. So I have left it this way and it has been holding for about a year.

Now I don't care for my car as much as others do. For me it is just a very nice daily driver used on a 80 mile round trip commute. I bought it used with the intention of putting 100k more miles on it and letting it go in a few years. For someone who cares more rigorously for their car it may be better to not attempt what I did. You can see there is still a small deviation where it mounts on my car. The brown color also hides this better than a white car would. The inner fender liner also had the plastic rivets pulled out. I've just been too lazy to replace those yet.
