  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

15 genesis sedan- today I got into my car and there are 2 lighter sockets. I have a phone charger where if its getting juice it lights up blue so I plugged my phone in the right side and saw it wasn't charging/lighting up blue no juice so I switched the plug to the left and its getting juice I am not familiar with these sockets/ cigarette lighters so any input would be helpful I checked Google and the forums and nothing really comes up.

That happened to me...A fuse needs to be replaced. There are three separate fuse boxes. I can't remember where the one for that charger is located. I had the service rep guy at dealership locate the burned out fuse---also the car comes with spare fuses. I think the spares are located under the hood in a black box. The actual location of the blown fuse maybe under dashboard near driver. Sorry that is all I can remember. It is a fog because we discovered there are three separate fuse boxes at different locations. If I can locate my service rep I will ask him if he remembers. This happened over a year ago so my memory is fading.

For the 2015 Genesis Sedan, Chapter 7 of the Users Manual, starting on page 7-61 covers everything you'd want to know about fuses and their locations.

The fuses for the power outlets are located in the fuse box/panel. See pages 7-62 and 7-66.
