  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

'sup everyone. im new to this site. i stumbled across this site looking for exhaust systems for my Genesis, so i figured i'd create an account and introduce myself.

names Chris. im a proud co-owner of a 2010 Genesis 4.6 sedan. was kinda skeptical about this car at first but i have had this for a couple weeks now and i gotta say its the best car i ever had. then again, all i have to compare it to are a 97 Thunderbird, a 94 Taurus and a 2001 Sonata. oh, and a 87 F150. i mean, i have driven luxury cars before. my great grandma before she died had a loaded 2006 Lincoln Town Car but it felt underpowered and handled like crap. but with this car it continuously surprises me. i have put some 4.6 Mustangs to shame with this thing. and the fuel economy is pretty damn good for a 370hp v8. city MPG is about 16 which i kinda expected. but i have gotten in excess of 30mpg highway with this car which is nothing short of amazing.

anyway. i dont have a job but i am seeking one out as a paid EMT. im also a volunteer firefighter. i do have questions in regards to my Genesis. right now im trying to make this v8 become more alive. i want this thing to sound as mean as it performs. for now im thinking of deleting the resonator. but the problem is i am having trouble finding the size of the pipes. some say its 2 1/2" and others say its 2 1/4". was wondering if anyone knew for sure what the size really is.
