  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The main chase scene in the movie Inception uses the red Genesis sedan!

They had to copy me!

Damnit. I just saw Inception and started to freak out a little when I saw the Genesis, and was wanting to get home quickly to make the first post about it!

Seriously though, they really showed off the Genesis to full effect. It was a monster in a vital chase scene of the movie, and took some insane licks and kept roaring, while remaining a proper luxury vehicle. The placement was perfect, although the car in the movie only had the H logo and no Genesis badging.

Also, it was an amazing movie, although the twist at the end wasn't hard to predict halfway through. This is going to provide an immense amount of exposure to the Genesis, though - this is going to be as big a movie as The Dark Knight was, in my opinion. Chris Nolan is a genius of filmmaking.

Ha ha! That is our car! I was of two minds as to whether to see this movie. I am so desperate to see other Genesis cars that this may just tip the scales for me.

Whether placing the Genny in this movie will do much to raise general awareness is not certain. From the front, without product indentification, this is a generic car. Maybe that is what the makers of this movie wanted. Maybe some people may be intrigued enough to find out what kind of car it is. I think all of us Genesis owners have seen people looking our car over and trying to figure out what it is.

I'm tired of being 'followed' and stared at on the highways!

Particularly when my teenage daughter is driving and I'm in the back seat, invisible because of the dark window tinting.

Pervs all around. :(

The real Pervs, would be looking at you instead of your daughter.

My husband and I just got done watching Inception . I pretty much came out of my seat to look at the front to make sure I was seeing the Genesis. My husband was laughing at me , in a good way :).VERY,VERY exciting to say the least .

I also enjoyed the significant amount of footage given to the Genesis in the chase sequence.

Woulda been neater w/ KDM badging.

(This thread probably should have been named less generically, so anyone scanning the list would at least have a hint that it is a discussion of the Genesis Inception scene.)
