  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have 77,000 miles on my car with no issues. I do maintain regularly. Wondering if others have high mileage. I would like to keep this car.

I just cracked 76k w/ my 5.0 Ultimate. It runs like the proverbial train... Most of my problems have been minor electrical hiccups, which were remedied by reinserting fuses (A/C) or by simply restarting the car (HVAC tried to roast me w/ heat once on the driver's side). I do have a leaking O ring @ the trans warmer which I need to address soon though - but it took 2000 mi worth of road trip to notice any sort of drop in coolant level.

Mine (2015 5.0) has 77K and has a number of small issues, none of which I would spend money on: creaky sunroof, deteriorating plastic trim pieces here and there, clearcoat at the top of the headlights disappearing, and flutter at 28-35 mph.

Other than that it runs really nicely. My left hand cylinder bank makes more noise at idle than the right hand cylinder bank. I suppose (?) it's a hydraulic lifter not working properly, but I haven't confirmed the noise is still present with a warmed up engine. I would not know if I had any fluids leaking but the dealership says nothing is leaking.

I’ve got 78,000 miles on my 5.0 and still love it like the day I bought it. Had some minor issues over the years but I to take it regularly for proscribed maintenance. I don’t see a car out there worth trading mine in for. I’m going to keep it until it dies.

Actually, I just confirmed that both banks sound the same when the engine is warmed. She purrs like a cat at idle. Lovely.

What type of gas do you burn? I strictly use super unleaded and only buy gas at Mobil’s or Exxon.

Pretty much the high octane stuff and every 2 thousand miles I chuck in a can of Techron.

Always premium... But make sure to use Top Tier every couple of tanks.

Mine have ~110k runs great, I only cleaned the valves from the carbon deposit which cost me $149 at the dealership
And yes that flutter noise I had that for a while I just ignore it. Doesn't seem to hurt

78K here. Only problems I have had were the sunroof and flutter noise. The flutter noise was fixed by replacing drive shaft and fixed sunroof myself. I only change the oil. Haven’t brought it in for maintenance in 20K miles.
