Home Link/Gate Opener

Anyone have success pairing one of your home link buttons with a residential community gate opener? Instructions suggest to every two seconds reactivate the hand held opener while holding the home link button in until you get a quickly flashing red light. No luck for me. Garage door opener works fine.

Take a look at the back of the two remotes and look for the FCC text with the operating frequency. It may be inside the battery compartment. There's a chance the gate opener operates on an oddball frequency... especially if it's an older model.

Thanks. I will check it out. Gate is only recently installed but still could be an unrecognizable frequency.
