  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yeah..... you're gonna have to trim those two posts down using a dremel kit.

Once they're off and the badge can sit flush on a flat surface, you're good to go.

The Korea Genesis has holes in the hood for the posts. It should mount 1" above the trim (since you have to do it freeform).

I just took some snips and cut the posts off. Make sure there are no sharp edges.

Thx guys!

Hey guys, I'm having an issue removing the badge from the front grille of my 2013 Genny coupe. I got the rear badges off with no problem, but I can't seem to get the front one off. Are there screws holding it on or just the sticky tape? I don't want to break my grille so I haven't tried forcing it, and I can't seem to wedge anything between the badge and grille because it's too tight. Any suggestions?

I just did all of the badges today on my R-spec. Ruissimo suggested that I make a template out of a piece of paper. It worked great. Just cut out the outline of the badge, and make sure its 1" above the grill. It's a lot easier than the back one was. I decided to use tin snips to cut off the pegs since I didn't have the other tool with me. That was real easy and worked great. Just make sure you dig down and cut off everything that is protruding. You don't want any of it to touch your paint. Good luck, it will look great when its done!
