Hello Everyone,
I am excited to purchase my first used car and I have found a great deal on a 2015 hyundai genesis. Unfortunately, it has a salvage title, so I am here to seek advice from the members of this forum. The Price is 15950$

I am wondering if there is a way to view the previous automobile problems or damages. I am head over heels in love with this model and I need to make my purchase by mid-February as I am currently relying on rideshares and it's just not working out for me.
I would really appreciate it if you guys can advise me on whether I should pull the trigger on this deal or negotiate with the seller a little more. I am excited to hear your thoughts and can't wait to take the wheel of my very own hyundai!

I would pay for a Carfax report on it.? A lot depends on why it is salvage. I had a friend that would buy flood cars all the time and never has an issue. But if the car was in a major reck, I would avoid it as sometimes when they put it back together there are safety issues, as well as the car being crooked and out of alignment.

This post completely slipped my mind, but here’s an update for you guys. After some thought, I decided not to purchase the car because a friend advised me to Vin check the carfax alternative and verify before making any deals. Thanks to him, I saved thousands of dollars on a car that was in an auction and had major damage which I saw on the vehicle report I purchased. The seller didn’t know about it himself as it happened prior to his ownership!
