How accurate is your compass?

The electronic compass on my 4.6 with Tech is off by about 1/8 of the actual direction. For example, if the car is pointing at West the compass will say SW. Anyone else has this problem? Perhaps my compass just need to be re-calibrated.

Did you set the magnetic variation?

I just change the magnetic zone and I will never end up in the woods from now on. I thought my dealer had done all the necessary preps already.

I had the same experience.
I had to put mine in sector 4 instead of the 8 it was in.

I never pay attention to the compass as all roads around here point either N, S, E or W.
