How do I get the temporary pop-up when the song changes on Apple CarPlay in the gauge cluster?

I have seen in previous threads that when the song changes while using Apple CarPlay that it will show up in the gauge cluster. I am talking about the screen in between the dials. How do I get that to show up in my car. Currently, nothing shows up when the song changes. I don't know if it matters that I have a HUD.

So, if you have the HUD you won't get the pop up in the central screen because the HUD is performing that notification. That said I've never seen my Android music pop-up on the HUD or anywhere. Not even a USB track triggers a notification, only a source change.

This was the case for my 2019 G70, but in my 2022 G70 I do get the song, station etc notification.
