  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2009 Genesis 3.8 Sedan. I just bought it with 12,000 miles! Anyways, when using the navigation system aid me in arriving at my destination, the voice that tells you when to turn is muted. I can't figure out how to unmute it for the life of me! Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's different from 2012 premium package, but you will see it on the left side of the navigation map screen, I believe it is a speaker or something similar.

I'm glad to see someone who is close to my age here! lol

Dominic, I see the little road and speaker icon, the only problem is that the 2009 is not a touch screen! I can't figure out how to get to the icon through the dial.

Anyways, yup, just turned 25 and sold my G35 for this ride. I drove the Infinity a bit too hard and decided it was time to switch things up before it started breaking on me...

Dominic, you saved me. Thanks for the recommended reading!
