You never know. Might be very little retrofitting.you guys are killing me. in CAD, the 6MT trim cannot be had with vented front seats. they are standard in the US trim 6MT. vented seats were one of my must-haves that i was looking for. first world problems, but it drives me nuts that i wasn't able to add this on as an option - for which i gladly would have paid extra. alas, no dice!
i'm hoping there is some way to retrofit the factory fan/electronics. i have the quilted/perforated Nappa seating, the same as the 3.3T Sport. eventually i'll look into it further. if there was a way to get the OEM bits and switch gear i'd be all over this if the cost was not ridiculous.

I would agree with this. A few days ago when it was hot, I put the cooling seat feature on and after a while, my rear end go so cold I had to turn them off. IF they don't get a direct input from the AC, they certainly get the cool are under the seats blown upwords. Good enough for me. I've had my G80 for nearly 18 months now and this was the first time I've turned the feature on. If you want to keep your ice cream cold on the way back from the store, it won't do that. However, if you just want to cool off your hot rear end, it's the ticket.I can also attest to the seat ventilation being almost instant and very cold. I am in VA where it gets over 100° F (110+ with humidity) as well...so I have put them to the test.
Time for some manscaping buddy!!sounds good to me, I am a hairy boy in AZ, gotta keep cool

In comparison, I drove a Mustang with ventilated seats with the power on full blast this week and they were probably the equivalent of the lowest setting on the G70.
