  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How long did it take you guys to get your Genesis coupe from when you signed the first paper to when you drove off the lot with the car?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
2.5 hours, They detailed it for me.

so from when you decided to buy the car, went to the dealership and when you drove away with the car - it only took a few hours?
no waiting time for the car to be delivered?

I drove 3.5 hours each way to a dealer that had exactly what I wanted on the lot......

It really depends...is there any particular reason you're asking, deity?

I had the price already negotiated before I stepped foot on the lot, and they had the exact color and model I wanted. I wanted to test drive the actual vehicle, and we then had to negotiate the trade-in value. Plus, the finance manager wasn't in, so the sales manager had to do the contract, and he wasn't used to the computer and printer. We chatted quite a bit too. On the other hand, we were the only one buying at the time. Total time: about two and a half hours from start to finish.

Your mileage will vary depending on your situation, how busy the dealership is, etc.

Worked out the deal via email ahead of time. Walked in at 7:45pm, walked out at 9:15pm.

Probably would have been 30-45 minutes quicker, but the dealership was swamped. 3 sales-people, all simultaneously making 2 sales each.

when I bought my TSX a few years ago, it took a month from when I signed the contract until the car was delivered.

I'm waiting until the Navi comes out before I buy the GC.
I'm just trying to guestimate how much summer fun I'll have with it before I have to get winter tires. A friend of a friend works at a dealership and he said the Navi comes out sometime in August. I just want to know how long until I get the new toy.

29 days, they had to find a red track 3.8 for me it came off the boat in cali and they shipped it via a flat bed truck, but it was well worth it.
