  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone have an idea as to how many 2012 5.0 Genesis sedans were produced by Hyundai?

Are you talking about non-R-Spec 2012 5.0 sedans?

Correct. The non-R Spec sedan with the 5.0 engine was only offered in the 2012 year model.
Discontinued for 2013.

I have one and am curious to know how many were constructed. I have heard that very few of these were actually built.

I bought it because I preferred the softer ride in the Sedan but wanted the 5.0.

Cars has been perfect since new.

Glad you found one of those! I wanted one, but they are really hard to find, so I got tired of searching and went with a 4.6.

That is exactly why I bought one...love the better ride! Seems like are timing was just right. I don't think they produced very many non R Spec 5.0's.

Dealer asked and said a estimate for US was in the 900s for 5.0 non R-Spec.
