  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi guys, tomorrow I pick up my 3.8L here in the UK, which is almost the same as the Ultimate in the US.

Now this is vitally important :)

In my Sonata I reckon there are about 10 electric motors.

How many do you guess are in the Genesis? I lost count after about 20. I mean, there's even a motor for the hand brake.

cheers
Nick

Not to mention whatever turns the DVD platter, and then the one that ejects the disk and pulls it in.

Over here the passenger seat has the same adjustments as the drivers seat, so that's 3 more.

and u can bet they will still all work when u hit 100k miles. their mechanisms are precise and well engineered.

now imagine it was a european car, u can bet half the motors will have problems at 50k miles.
